Yet another bug from windows 10 update, but this time Microsoft has confirmed that the new windows 10 is causing some hitches on PowerShell client, breaking the Desired State Configuration feature of the solution.
This is used by system administrator and developers to configure and manage Windows based servers via scripts that automate the various tasks. The cumulative update in question is KB3176934, which was officially released for the Anniversary Update last week.
Redmond has promised a patch that will be released on August 30, 2016.
In the meantime, though, the company has also listed a workaround, the details of which you can find if you point your browsers to this link.
