BIOS known as Basic Input/Output device is a micro processor which can be found in personal computers, it’s responsible to make system checks on all devices attached to your computer as to whether they are operational before booting up the operating system.
These includes your RAM(Random Access Memory) , HDD(Hard Disk Drives), Keyboard, Mouse and other peripherals.
People lock their BIOS in other to place an extra layer of security on their computer to prevent user from accessing their files, but there is a way of getting around this;
- On the BIOS screen, enter any word 3 times to get system disabled prompt and note the code down.
- Visit this Link to enter the code in the window and click on “Get New Password” button.
- It might suggest 2 or more unlock codes. Just restart the computer and enter any other them into the BIOS dialogue screen.
