Microsoft yesterday officially rolled out the Windows 10 Creators update we have been waiting for, today Microsoft has released a new cumulative update (KB4015583) for those on the Windows 10 Creators Update.
Windows users seem to be getting some issues updating to the new creators update using the normal routine by going to Start >> Settings >> Update and Security >> Windows update.
This isn’t a huge issue, there is a special tool released by Microsoft to check if your version of windows is up to date.
Windows 10 Update assistant is a tool that helps you update to the latest version of windows 10, you can get to
download here and its very easy to use. On the page, click on update now, This will download a Windows 10 Upgrade EXE file. Run the executable to start the Windows 10 Update Assistant. When you click Update Now the tool will check your system for compatibility. Should your system be compatible, waiting for the timer to finish its countdown or clicking Next will initiate the update.
Once the download has finished, click Restart now to start the installation.

- Addressed issues with updated time zone information.
- Security updates to Scripting Engine, libjpeg image-processing library, Hyper-V, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Adobe Type Manager Font Driver, Internet Explorer, Graphics Component, Active Directory Federation Services, .NET Framework, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, Microsoft Edge and Windows OLE.
